After China joined the WTO, there will be more international counterparts to enter the domestic market. With the growing international competition, we will face enormous competitive pressures. World famous drying equipment manufacturers have already set up branches in our country to snatch the Chinese market.
    With the accelerated process of economic globalization, more multinational companies will target the Chinese market. Increasing competition requires our companies must improve product quality through technological advances, the absorption of foreign advanced technology and innovation. Ideas on product development should work hard on equipment of large-scale,  degree of automation control, the quality of surface treatment of the equipment and selection of corrosion resistant materials. Developing multifunction machines to promote the product life cycle continues to extend. 
    Restructuring the enterprises, cultivating core competitiveness of enterprises. Our drying equipment industry's characteristics are small businesses, not strong, not special, not fine, the quantity is big but the overall quality is not high. 
    Currently, the innovation capacity of drying equipment manufacturing enterprises is low in our country. There are few companies can introduce new technology and new product with independent intellectual property rights. This is the main reason for the slow development of drying technology of our country. 
    At present, the domestic market of conventional drying equipment, as well as major international markets drying equipment are basically made in China. This suggests that the drying equipment of China's import-oriented history has ended.
The development of dyring equipment should pay attention to energy conservation and energy utilization, such as the use of various joint heating, migration of heat pumps and heat pipe technology. We also need to develop rotary drum dryer automatic control technology to ensure optimal operating conditions. In addition, as human's emphasis on environmental protection, to improve  rotary drum dryer environmental protection measures to minimize dust and exhaust leaks, etc., will also be studied in depth direction.
