Although modern drying technology has been a hundred years of history, it still belongs to the category of scientific experiments. Drying technology has a wide application field. At present, the number of China's drying equipment manufacturing enterprises have up to more than 200, the annual output value of drying equipment is 1.7 billion to 20 billion. It not  only can basically meet the domestic market demand,  there are but also a small amount exported to foreign countries. But compared with advanced countries's drying technology , we still in the middle and low level. 
    The development and the introduction of new products of small enterprises which work on the drying equipment are mainly imitate the advanced countries. Experts suggest that we should develop advanced technology and improve product quality of drying equipment technology in China. The current market is given priority to with low-tech products. China's accession to the WTO, there will be more international counterparts enter the domestic market and there will be great pressure. 

    Automatic control system's role in the dryer is well known, its one-time investment is one of the most concern. Sometimes the investment of controlling equipment even more than investment dryer mechanical parts. Experts believe that the current level of automation to solve control problems in drying equipment is not difficult, but the problem is the reasonable combination of  automation technology and drying equipment.
